A long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

So here's how DKE started out: its humble beginnings. I was attempting to design some kinda cool mascot/logo thing for a friend's website, and boredom and imagination set in after I failed to produce anything that made any sense. So I produced the first DKE comic, titled dke001 below, and for some reason this image included a likeness of myself shooting the Tooth Fairy.

I'm a little embarrassed at some of these, but I'm keeping them because they're sort of fun and they show what I was into at the time.

I think it's really interesting to see how my art has developed over the last year or so. I've gotten a lot more comfortable with the tablet and made my own distinct style. Looking back at these shows me how much of a journey I've taken through manga/art/randomness/the quantum singularity.

You'll also notice that these comics don't open in a new window and don't live on pages of their own. This is because I am a lazy little bastard and I suck. Also, there is some copyrighted material here that I suppose I really shouldn't have. I'll get around to editing that.
